Welcome
We are the cub scout pack 184 of Austintown, Ohio. We are a chartered organization of St. Joseph’s Church of Austintown. Our pack consists of boys first thru fifth grades, separated into dens of Tigers, Bears, Wolfs, Weblos1 and Weblos2. St. Joseph’s also charters the Boy Scouts Troup 184 where many of our cub scouts advance on to become boy scouts. We hold 3 den meetings a month on Monday’s at 6:30pm in St. Joseph Church social hall from September thru May. The last Monday of each month we have our pack meeting also in the church social hall. Our pack meetings are family events where the entire family is invited for awards ceremonies, activities and refreshments. On the first Tuesday of each month we have an adult committee / parent planning meeting; where we plan out our upcoming scouting events. Our annual scouting activities include, September pack meeting kick off, October pumpkin carving, hayride and Halloween party with Trunk or Treating, November indoor family swim night, Science Fair pack meeting, December Christmas caroling at local nursing homes and a pack Christmas party, January Pine Wood Derby races, February district Freeze Out cabin camping at Camp Stambuagh, April Earth Day Cleanup hike in Millcreek Park, May Flag decorating with the veterans at Calvary Cemetery and Austintown Memorial day parade, June Bike and hike at the trail head bike trail in Austintown, July Austintown Forth of July Parade and family camping weekend, August pack family summer picnic with rain gutter regatta. Also various other summer time events such as Great Bear Lodge weekend, Scrapper Baseball game with out field camping, Indians game day and Canfield Fair events. We always welcome new members to our cub scout family anytime during the year.
