On a clear Saturday morning the boys of Pack 240 came to the shores of Shutes Branch for our 2007
Fishing Derby. Everyone was eager to get to the lake shore to find out who would catch
the "Biggest Fish", "Smallest Fish" or the "Most Fish" and take home the
trophies. The fish seemed in for the sport of it because almost everyone caught at least
one. By the end of two hours, with Denise acting as judge (a bit grossed out I might add)
we had our 2007 Fishing Derby winners. Hunter won the trophy for the "Biggest Fish" coming
in at 10 inches, Aaron won for the "Smallest Fish" with a 5 inch fish, and Justin caught
the trophy for "Most Fish" with 5 fish in two hours.
