"After Dark with Stars in the Park" Star Partys at Waikele Community Park and Kahala Park are scheduled for: Saturday Evenings (Weather permitting): From dusk to 9:30 PM. Hawaiian Astronomy Society volunteers will set up telescopes to show you the Moon, any planets and whatever else is available.

DATES for 2005: January 15th, February 19th, March 19th, April 16th, May 14th, June 11th, July 9th, August 13th, September 10th, October 8th, November 5th, December 10th
DATES for 2006: January 7th
What to bring: Lawn Chairs, light snacks.
What NOT to bring: White lights.
A few words on light. We try to maintain dark conditions at the site. Therefore we have certain rules about light. First, no white flashlights. The only flashlights that you should use are not too bright, red ones.
Cubs who attend may complete the Astronomy Academic Belt Loop and Pin. Bear Scouts can also work on the Space Arrow Electives.
