Boy Scout Troop of Newark Valley, NY

Troop 30 is part of the Hiawatha District of the Baden-Powell Council. We are chartered by the First United Methodist Church of Newark Valley and meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 on the second floor of the Newark Valley Municipal Building. Click here for a map of where we meet. The troop committee meets on the third Monday of the month at the First United Methodist Church in Newark Valley.

Troop 30 has served the youth of northern Tioga County since 1932. For more on our history, click here.

Also, please note that the troop meeting night will be changing from Wednesday to Monday, starting on September 12, 2011. No decision has been made at this time about when the troop committee will hold its meetings. There will be no committee meeting in July and the August meeting will be held on August 15 at the Newark Valley United Methodist Church. At the August meeting a decision will be made about when to meet for the coming Scouting year.
