Silver Antelope
The Silver Antelope is awarded by the National Office of the Boy Scouts of America and is the highest award which can be given to a scouter for service to youth on a regional basis.
The late William H. Stimming was awarded the Silver Antelope in 1956.
Silver Beaver
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest award that can be given by a local scout council. To be considered for this very selective award, a registered scouter must render service and contributions of exceptional character to youth over an extended period of time.
Newark Valley is fortunate to have benefitted from the extraordinary
dedication and commitment of these adult leaders, holders of the Silver
Beaver Award:
District Award of Merit
The District Award of Merit is the highest award that can be given by a district. To be considered for this award, a registered scouter must provide service to youth at the district level over an extended period of time.
