Welcome to Our Web Site!

We are located in Greencastle, Pennsylvania,
just north of the Mason-Dixon line.
Our meetings are held on Monday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
at Scout Headquarters, the Train Station located right off Baltimore Street.
We are a member of the Mason-Dixon Council
which holds four camporees each year.
The council's camp is Camp Sinoquipe,
which is where we attend a week-long summer camp
to take merit badge requirements such as canoeing, rifle shooting, fishing, horsemanship, archery and many others.
Along with a once per month major outing,
we also send scouts to Philmont and Sea Base High Adventure Camps.
Our troop currently has 48 active scouts, 1 Scoutmaster,
and 9 Assistant Scoutmasters.

How To Join the Boy Scouts

Join us at one of our Monday night meetings!
See for yourself what you, as a scout in Troop 99, will be doing to
earn merit badges, advance in rank, and help run the Troop.
Scouting offers an opportunity for you to learn outdoor skills,
how to save a life, and how to become a leader.
To become a scout, you must be at least 11 years old
and have completed the fifth grade or have earned the Arrow of Light
(and you must be willing to have fun!)

Contact our Scoutmaster by email for more information.

Greencastle-Antrim
Old Home Week

37th Triennial Celebration
July 31 - August 7, 2010

A Troop 99 tradition continues!

The troop will be providing concessions
on the square in Greencastle
at next summer's Old Home Week celebration.
It is anticipated that the troop will need more than
100 volunteers to man its concession stand
for the entire celebration.

All past Troop 99 alumni are welcomed and invited
to support this critical fundraiser for the Troop.
If you wish to work at the concession stand or
participate in behind-the-scenes planning,
please click on the link below to contact
Troop 99's Old Home Week Committee.

Thank you for your continued support
of Troop 99!

The Boy Scout Promise

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

The American's Creed
by William Tyler Page
Adopted by Congress - 1918

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people, whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a sovereign Nation and many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its Flag, and to defend it against all enemies.
